Supporting the people who care for companion animals.

The Companion Animals Federation of Australia (CAFA) exists for one reason: to strengthen the wellbeing, leadership and resilience of the people working and volunteering in animal welfare.

Across shelters, rescue groups, pounds, foster networks and advocacy organisations, staff and volunteers carry immense emotional responsibility. Burnout, compassion fatigue and moral distress are common. CAFA provides structured, practical and evidence-informed support to help animal welfare teams sustain their work — and themselves.
